My mother’s proudest possession was her diamond. It wasn’t very big, but dad got her a nice one. It was on her hand for over sixty years. My oldest sister now wears it. Diamonds are extraordinary; rare and beautiful gifts from the earth. I can get the perfect one for you. Here’s how it works.

The way the stores do it is that they buy a bunch of diamonds, mark the price way up to cover their inventory, their high rent, their advertising, pay their employees and make a profit. Then they try to sell you one. What I do is different from the stores. I do not have a drawer full of stones or hundreds of “unique” settings. I only have a few diamonds as samples.

When you come in, I will explain what diamonds are all about. Clearly and simply. In ten minutes you will know more about diamonds than many people who sell them. We will talk about quality and price, then set up another appointment. I will get several diamonds in your price range for you to look at and choose from.

This process makes a lot of sense. You learn about diamonds. You choose the one you want and you save money. I charge less than the stores because I don’t have a lot of money tied up in stones and when you get here you will see that I don’t have a lot of overhead.
